• We love the safe and suburban feel of Hillsdale. With a large population of homeowners, this town contributes familiarity with conservativeness and plenty of options for dining out and activities for families.

• In Hillsdale’s neighboring town - Westwood - Meals on Wheels presents an opportunity to get involved with the community and help provide meals and wellness visits. You can volunteer by acting as transportation or offering your professional skills, such as graphic design, copywriting or fundraising.

• Stonybrook Swim Club; 12 acre property perfect in the summer months for the whole family. A total of 5 pools, including a diving pool, 14 ft. Slide, heated competition pool - the list goes on. This club has theme nights, a snack bar, pavilions for event rental space, a basketball court, parties with live bands and offers Kids Korner every weekday.

• Demarest Farms - a major Hillside attraction, known for their lush seasons of apple and pumpkin picking, drive in movies and petting farm. Don’t forget to stop at the shop for a fresh baked pie or donuts.  They also have drive through light shows during the holidays.
• Annual Children’s Spring Fishing Derby - Open to children ages 4-16; Trophies and prizes given for the largest trout caught by age group.
• Abrakadoodle Art Studio for Kids - Classes designed by educators and artists, offered to children and parents to develop their skills, learn techniques and discover their artistic style.

• Mary Jane Clark American author of a series of suspense novels born and raised in Hillsdale, NJ.
• Olivia Dunne- 20 year old American artistic gymnast and social media personality. Current member of the LSU Tigers women’s gymnastics team and former USA national team member
• Kathleen Noone- Most known for her role on the ABC daytime soap opera, All My Children.
